Congratulations to the Herndon Woman's Club!

The Herndon Woman's Club was the recipient of the Herndon Police Department's Community Champion Award for 2024. The award was given to them for their Plush In a Rush project - where the Club members provided stuffed animals to the Herndon Police Department for use with children. Some stuffed animals were purchased and others were handmade baby safe bears. Great job Ladies!

Congratuations to the Woodbridge Woman's Club!

The Woodbridge Woman's Club was recently featured on the local news channel WUSA 9 for their wonderful work sewing heart-shaped pillows for cancer patients! For the past decade, the WWC has been uplifting cancer patients and together they have sewn more than 1,000 pillows! This group of ladies gets together twice a month to sew and enjoy fellowship time together. Way to go Ladies!!

Junior Woman's Club of Loudoun sponsored a puppy for Veterans Moving Forward!

Members of the Junior Woman's Club of Loudoun were excited to accomplish their goal of sponsoring a puppy for Veteran's Moving Forward! A check for $3,000 was presented to Veteran's Moving Forward at the JWCL November 2023 Club meeting. The puppy will be trained and matched with a Veteran in need of a service dog.

New Dominion Woman's Club Power Packs

The New Dominion Woman's Club organized a Power Pack Assembly. The Power Pack program provides weekend meals to FCPS students experiencing food insecurity.  The program currently serves 45 schools. 

Woodbridge Woman's Club recycled 500 lbs. of plastic bags!

Members of the Woodbridge Woman's Club celebrated at a bench dedication ceremony on July 20th at Occoquan, VA.  The ceremony included Mayor Porta of Occoquan and Merial Currer of Patriot Scuba in Occoquan.  A recycling plastic bags program by Patriot Scuba in which Woodbridge Woman's Club donated 500 pounds of bags led to them donating this bench in the honor of the Woodbridge Woman's Club.
